About Us

PHILOSOSPHY OF MINISTRY
To assist the believers at Community Baptist Church, we will focus upon these spiritual activities:
Exalting Christ
We exist to offer the believer the opportunity to worship together with other believers through music and singing, prayer, preaching of God’s Word, and giving.1
Exhortation to love God and one another
We exist to encourage believers to love God and one another by seeking to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other through obedience to His Word and surrender to the control of the Holy Spirit.2
Edifying Believers
We exist to help believers build a biblical foundation in order to equip them for faithful service to our Lord Jesus Christ.3
Evangelizing Our Communities
We exist to encourage one another to reach people who are facing a Christless eternity. Individual believers are challenged to seek out the unsaved and look for opportunities to share Christ’s love with them as they build bridges toward the goal of sharing the good news of Christ with them. This will happen as believers communicate Christ to family, friends, and co-workers through their words and way of life in Northeast Berks County, Pennsylvania, the USA, and the world.4
